THE WILLINGTON GALLERY
(opened on May 13/14)
offered the opportunity for more than 20 local artists to showcase their varied works and talk about their work to the festival visitors.
This offered a unique opportunity to get to know the artist as well as purchase original artwork.
The Gallery featured a wide choice of styles and medium, including water colours, oils, acrylics, photography and digital graphics, showing the wide variety of skills and creativity within the local art scene.
is a central element of the festival, providing an informal atmosphere for artists to showcase their work and visitors to talk to the artists and learn about the work and techniques on show.
The arts trail takes visitors around the village from the Old School to Village Hall with other venues between, including St Michael's Church and artists' homes, making it a true village event.
